Seven Cities Sod has been a family owned business since 1967

In 1966 Norman Frye, a 4th generation farmer, took a 30 acre pasture and started renovating it by rolling and fertilizing to bring it up to standard for planting sod.  In 1967 the first sale of sod was made thus creating Seven Cities Sod.
